Barry’s is back! The new owners have it open and ready to roll as far as the interior goes. This is still a work in progress but it is great to see folks in this bar and restaurant again. We drive by a whole lot and we have seen good numbers of folks inside and outside. Barry’s website is not up yet. But the Facebook page is a live and full of images and life. They have a full menu on most days. On game days the menu gets pared down to the basics. You will have to just live with the construction for a little bit longer. In a few months the exterior will also be done. The rooftop area is coming along very nicely. The open roof area will be a great area for smokers in Lincoln also. Barry’s is going to have one of the most unique lounge areas in town when this is all done. And the new updated exterior will fit in a ton better than the old exterior for the Haymarket area. Even with just the bare old brick showing it is starting to blend in with the area better.

CORRECTION: Barry’s website is alive and well but at an updated location. Their new and very up to date site is at barrysbarandgrill.com. There are a lot of photos and renderings on the site to help you get a feel for what the new Barry’s will look and feel like. Looks top notch!.
